TIARRAH MARJANI

intuitive art

Artist  Statement

"Creativity expands the channel of self-realization. It is a natural therapy that births awareness and exposes deep inner wisdom and brilliance.

Aiding as an alternative instrument of vocality, my work is my mind's river of creative expression radicalized by chronic suppression. It has become a medicine and a primary device for spiritual and psychological reflection.

In my evolving process, intuition ushers silenced memories of my inner child to the stage. Characters and faces develop as incarnations of retention that's survived decades.

My inspiration is reality beyond the realm of sensory perception. It is my intent to channel introspection to the areas of our mind that are conditioned to deflect. Art is my preparation for maturity and transformation.

I have made it my mission to reclaim creativity as an essential life function. In conjunction with craftsmanship and in unison with nature, I create to reunite with the rhythm of authenticity."

Tiarrah Marjani is an interdisciplinary artist primarily known for enigmatic expressionism. Prior to discovering her role as a painter, Tiarrah developed a creative identity early on through the embrace of recreational jewelry and fashion design.

Diverting from her predetermined academic path in early adulthood, she converted to a holistic lifestyle where a recent curiosity and introduction to agriculture bridged the ecological foundation to her craftmaking resurgence.

Implementing her creative visions of empowerment through her brand Marjani Gems and organization Moral Exchange, Tiarrah extends her awareness through creative and environmental service, artistic development and curation of community events.

Her works have been featured in multiple group exhibitions at galleries and institutions that have piloted the art communities paramount to her locality. Her social and wellness events and programs have supported many local artists entrepreneurs and community members across California.

Today, Tiarrah continues her research and experimentation on the pipeline between art and environmentalism.
